Notes from preliminary New Page Patrol review[edit]

Thanks for your work. There is a large amount of good material here. IMHO this is best handled by putting the material into other articles. IMO the issue is that this describes common widespread practices rather than being a distinct topic. The references don't appear to refer to it by name nor as a distinct entity. I thought more about this when I saw that it is still unreviewed. Good start. I marked it as reviewed. I had some concerns about this as a topic. 1/2 of the article is repeating / stretching out something that is usually covered in 2 sentences in electronic imaging 101....minuses of a Bayer filter / "single chip" color imaging. And there is more space dedicated to what is in essence another semi-common type of color imaging but referring to it as monochrome. But there is some good material in here and I think it is a good topic for an article. The change in my thinking since my May 8th post was that the whole field of selecting single bands / wavelengths for astrophotography.
