Needs update[edit]

During the pandemic and post-pandemic, greedy and unscrupulous visitors exploited the area just on the outer edges of the boundary.[1] Locals say the area is rapidly losing species. The law enforcement division of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife predictably denies there is a problem. Oddly enough, this issue was ignored by all the major local news outlets.
