"Major Thomas, so called for his work in the American Civil War. Major Thomas married Anne Ridgely and built the Mansion circa 1783."

This means someone who was active in the Civil War (in the 1860s) built a mansion in the 1780s? Anyone building a mansion in the 1780s would have had to have been born in the 1760s or earlier. Such a person would have been over 100 years old at the time of the Civil War. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.142.38.17 (talk) 14:02, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch. I removed the 'civil war' phrase, provided some citations, and noted the need for more. —Adavidb 13:06, 12 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just noticed that Richard Snowdon is shown as d. 1711, yet his son, Richard Jnr, is given as born 1719. That is an amazing feat! Any redress to be made? 122.105.171.172 (talk) 08:53, 15 July 2008 (UTC)Kozbob[reply]
