Worth mentioning Cool World or Spicy City or The Dating Guy? Maybe Archer... any sources doing compares yet? 64.228.89.137 (talk) 04:31, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Quest for Aquatica[edit]

Thought this aired early (12:39am EST sat) but it's actually a mislabelled rerun of Lights Camera Reenaction. I think MTV sent the wrong PVR summary. Seemed odd for it to air prior to Strike Visualizer. 64.228.89.137 (talk) 04:54, 26 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Finally aired last night though. Should we list the names of the dolphins in the race and the horses they are parodies of? 64.228.90.87 (talk) 15:15, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Skin tone[edit]

Is how most characters have stark white skin worth describing? QFA even makes light of this when Rad describes tanning to become ivory. 64.228.90.87 (talk) 15:15, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Completely worth it if in a longer section about the art style of the show. The character style is based off of Patrick Nagel. Here's a reference for that. http://www.indiewire.com/article/moonbeam-city-creator-scott-gairdner-reached-for-the-stars-and-got-rob-lowe-20150916 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.96.221.126 (talk) 19:16, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Release date[edit]

While the show did not air on televison until September 16, the complete first episode was already released online publicly on the CC website on September 1, see the official Facebook post and some press coverage. Shouldn't this date be used in the infobox where it says "original release", or at least mentioned in the article? –Dark Cocoa Frosting (talk) 12:37, 25 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"City Hunter" comparisons not verifiable[edit]

In several past edits unsourced claims of City Hunter as an influence has come up. I don't believe this is supported by reliable enough sources to fit in the article. The only possible source I can find is a single tweet by Gairdner (replying to a now-deleted tweet, I only found context from this forum post). Even still, Gairdner clarifies that the team only learned of City Hunter after producing the Moonbeam City pilot so its impact on the show can't have been that major. More obvious influences like Miami Vice, Patrick Nagel, or TRON are directly mentioned in multiple reliable interviews; with City Hunter never coming up in a reliable source I don't see it warranting inclusion. --Mashed Potate Jones (talk) 06:59, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
