Moral Enhancement is a supercategory of Moral Biomedical Enhancement

"Moral enhancement [1] (abbreviated ME[2]), also called moral bioenhancement (abbreviated MBE[3])" While the terms are often used interchangeably, Moral Enhancement (ME) is more than Moral Biomedical Enhancement (MBE) as discussed in the 'Different_kinds_of_moral_enhancement' section. Knightcap, I agree with you that moral enhancement is a supercategory of moral bioenhancement. Such a taxonomy of moral enhancement might include artificial intelligence, bioscience, culture (e.g., arts, literature, theatre and film), and education (e.g., character education and values education). Such a taxonomy might also include politics – or political science – and religion with some discussion of their historical approaches to the elevation and acceleration of moral progress. AI Moral Enhancement: Upgrading the Socio-technical System of Moral Engagement

Hello. I am interested in enhancing this article while drawing from new scholarly publications including:

I intend to enhance this article to indicate that moral enhancement includes two main subtopics: moral biomedical enhancement and a sociotechnical approach. In the sociotechnical approach, individuals, groups, and organizations could utilize technologies, e.g., artificial intelligence systems, asking questions with moral components to receive one or more answers. These answers could be the result of debates or other syntheses of contents from multiple subsystems trained to answer while emulating historical or contemporary philosophers, or while utilizing certain points of view, schools of thought, or wisdom traditions.

To preserve as much of the current article's content as possible, without any objections, I'm planning on:

1. moving the current article from "Moral enhancement" to "Moral bioenhancement"
2. creating a new article for "Moral technological enhancement" or "Moral sociotechnical enhancement"
3. editing the "Moral enhancement" article so that, instead of redirecting, it includes new, general-purpose content with sections for the two subtopics of: (1) moral bioenhancement, and (2) moral sociotechnical enhancement, with these article sections hyperlinking to the more specific articles

So, there will be, in total, three encyclopedia articles:

1. Moral enhancement – a new article about moral enhancement, in general, which links to the following two other articles
2. Moral bioenhancement – the current article
3. Moral sociotechnical enhancement – a new article with sources including, but not limited to, the 2023 publication mentioned above

I just moved this article to moral bioenhancement and created a new article Moral enhancement which encompasses artificial intelligence, bioscientific, cultural, and educational approaches.
