I was reviewing this page and mainly added to the life cycle section as well as fixed some minor organizational issues. I would recommend adding more sections, perhaps one about conservation efforts or ecology. Iginsberg (talk) 03:14, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I thought this article had some good information about the signature color of the butterfly; some of this information isn't cited, however, so I added some tags where I thought a citation was needed. I think this article could be improved by information about the behavior of the butterfly; mating behavior might be a good place to start. Srosefuqua (talk) 00:35, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

October 3rd 2017[edit]

This page was majorly updated for the WUSTL Behavioral Ecology class. I deleted the information that was not properly cited. I added sections detailing the range, phylogeny, behavior, life cycle, coloration of its wings, research interests, and how it is considered a collector's item.

Can somebody please insert a link on this page to the wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morpho_(butterfly). It took me 1/2 an hour to realise there was vastly more information on wikipedia about the Blue Morpho (after trailing all over the net, i thought i'd gone mad coming full circle back to wikipedia and finding 10 times the information on this other page!)

Did it. Thanks for the suggestion.Brian8710 11:05, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Review/Edit[edit]

The introductory paragraph in “Coloration” needs an in-text citation. So does the subsection “Egg” in the “Life Cycle” section. I did some research and found that the Morpho menelaus has a lot of subspecies. In fact, many papers talked about only a specific subspecies rather than of M. menelaus as a whole. Finding a comprehensive list of this and listing it on the Wikipedia page would be helpful. Other areas of improvement could involve adding sections on mating, diet, and habitat. I also added a section on adaptations. Y.shin (talk) 02:52, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Behavioral Ecology edits[edit]

I think you did a great job with your article! I think that you could really add more information for the range section and adaptations section, because the other sections have so much information and it is important to have balanced coverage of information. Also, you only covered 3 stages of the life cycle, so you could add information about the other stage. Also, there are quite a few sections missing here that could be helpful to add, like physiology and parental care. overall, your sentence structure and flow is great!
