request edit[edit]

I work at the Udall Foundation and have been asked to reach out to the article authors of the Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation Wikipedia page to request edits to the article that will bring it up-to-date. While we hope that all of the edits below can be made, the most important update at this time would be bullet # 4 (Management section).

1) Introductory Paragraph edit: The full name of the Foundation is "Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation." The "Scholarship and Excellence in National Environmental Policy" was removed from the name when Congress added Stewart Udall's name to the Foundation.

2) Foundation programs section: We don't have a "purpose and motto," so I hope that can be edited. Our 2018-2022 Strategic Plan can be found at https://www.udall.gov/documents/aboutus/UdallFoundation2018-2022StrategicPlanFINALDecember142017.pdf. Article authors can find in that document our Mission Statement.

3) Foundation programs section: In that Strategic Plan, you will also find descriptions of our four programmatic areas that could be used to update the information regarding our programs.

4) Management section: Information to update the Management section of the article can be found here https://www.udall.gov/AboutUs/MeetOurBoard.aspx and here https://www.udall.gov/AboutUs/MeetOurStaff.aspx.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide to bring this article up-to-date.

Sincerely,

MonroeUdallFoundation (talk) 17:06, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request on hold   I'm going to go ahead and put this request on hold for now. The COI editor may need to change their username to comply with WP:ISU, WP:ORGNAME and I urge the COI editor to contact the editors at Wikipedia:Requests_for_comment/User_names to inquire as soon as possible if the name they have now is OK to use. The problem is that the lack of the word "at" within the username makes it less clear that this is a person using this account rather than a shared account. Usually the name would be changed to "MonroeAtUdallFoundation" in order to make this relationship clear. This edit request about the article can wait until after that change has taken place or until this distinction has been resolved and the OK given by other editors.
