I collected the sources for this a while ago. Only just got round to putting them together. Unfortunately one of the sources was from The Times, which never works properly. I'm not sure if there's that much more to say about Morston. He could have been a really great horse, but we'll never know.Tigerboy1966 (talk) 21:15, 14 October 2011 (UTC) He did win the Godstone Plate but it was not a maiden as it was a maidens at closing race. The horse he beat into 2nd was Hern's Kinglet who was favourite and had won his maiden a week or so before.(Victor Middlesex (talk) 20:07, 8 June 2015 (UTC)).
