Photo wanted?[edit]

I drive past this mountain a couple of times a week. I could easily take a photo from the bruce highway. Would this be helpful? Mrpalermo (talk) 05:58, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm probably the only active watcher of this article, and I didn't want to just ignore your message. but I'm blind ... so a photo wouldn't make any difference to me personally. For more useful responses, try the Australian Wikipedians' notice board. Graham87 14:12, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Graham. Sorry, I didn't get this until now. I must have to watch the page to get notified. These past few weeks have been beautiful weather so I have managed to take a distant photo of the mountain showing only a silhouette. It is up on commons now. I hope to also get around to taking a photo of the cable car before the weather changes. I hope it is okay if I change the infobox image to my distant photo since it represents Mount Bellenden Ker much better than a photo of Josephine falls. I'll check out the Australian notice board. It's tough learning how to get around Wikipedia socially. --Mrpalermo (talk) 04:49, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Mrpalermo: Sure; sounds good to me. Sorry, I didn't think to ping you earlier, but you should get a notification from this message. Graham87 06:42, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm not on Wiki very often but just wanted to join in on this old conversation...hope you don't mind. My dad was one of the guys who helped set up the cable car/tv station transmitters on Mt Bellenden Ker many many years ago. My mum, dad and siblings lived in a little house close to the foot of the mountain. :-) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Countrygirlatheart (talkcontribs) 04:43, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
