Etymology[edit]

Object to South Slavic etymology. Anachronism of over 1000 years. Ossa appears in early Greek lit. and much precedes the development of South Slavic. The movement of the Slavs into Greece is much later. The source is an obvious "Slavic nut" who wants to put all the place names into Slavic for propaganda purposes. More likely to be Luwian. The etymology should not be up front but be a special topic. I am going to make it such but of course this is a stub so it is only a temporary measure.Botteville (talk) 11:12, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
