Merger proposal[edit]

I propose to merge Adaptive Sports USA into Move United. Since Move United as an organization was created as a merger of Disabled Sports USA and Adaptive Sports USA, and the article for Disabled Sports USA already redirects to Move United, it only makes sense for Adaptive Sports USA to be a redirect as well. That article is written as if Adaptive Sports USA is still registered as its own organization when it should not be treated as a discrete subject anymore. The two articles have the same subject and scope now that the organizations have been merged (WP:DUP). There is a lot of information in the History section of the Adaptive Sports USA article that could probably be paired down and included in the History section of Move United. Even better, separate sub-sections could be created to include that information along with a more complete history of Disabled Sports USA before it was merged with Adaptive Sports USA. • Mixed: Both articles are an absolute mess (PR-laden wording, needs citations/expansion [it took a lot of work to get 2012 Summer Paralympics to GA but we somehow did it], and even my changes to the lead on MU are an improvement so far. The article on Adaptive Sports USA could be rewritten but also done in past tense. I'd consider MU to be the surviving entity because it's using the same HQ location as Disabled Sports USA.
