Real people[edit]

So who are the 'real people' in the series - Teddy Roosevelt, the Korean Emperor, 'One of the Five/Seven Traitors of (date)' and who else? To what extent are the characters who appear 'representative types' (the female hotel owner, Goo Dong-mae etc)?

Many 'historical dramas (Shakespeare, 'many TV historical dramas etc') rework the actually existing events and shorten timeframes to make a better plot. AL Pluribelle (talk) 15:24, 4 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Pro-Japanese?[edit]

I don't see how this show is pro-Japanese. Japanese soldiers are shown to be brutish and ruthless. The collaborators (chinilpa) are not shown in a better light. 187.158.20.16 (talk) 02:59, 10 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
