Notability[edit]

If Google returns 41,100 articles about MuLinux we can not speak about Non-notable distro.

Yes we can. Please provide reliable and independent third party publications dealing with the subject if you want to see it kept. Plrk (talk) 11:21, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What about reviews published in July 2005 issue of Linux Format http://www.linuxformat.co.uk/pdfs/LXF68.round.pdf\ and ACM Indexed scientific base: Using Linux in Embedded and Real-Time Systems http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?id=349542 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.74.226.178 (talk) 12:31, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shit, men... The last version of this distro has been released in 2004... It's old dead shit. Nobody needs neither it, nor article about it. Go find a computer which will be able to run this, but won't be to run Puppy Linux, for example...

For example, any computer with faulty (or non existent in case of laptops) CD can use MuLinux but not Puppy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.65.172.175 (talk) 08:31, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, it's mostly done and gone that's true, but the article is helpful and notable as a wee slice of background in computer science, this kind of thing wontedly being called history. Gwen Gale (talk) 13:23, 15 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Having just checked the toolbox, yes, still have a MuLinux floppy. Yes, there are minimalist distributions that do more. The old ways should be remembered so that they can be understood, and the advances then appreciated. There was a period of about five years when it was a rare week I didn't use either a MuLinux floppy or a TOMSRTBT floppy to recover some ailing Windows box. htom (talk) 19:29, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It was so very handy in its day :D Gwen Gale (talk) 19:53, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
