The result of the move request was: no consensus. leaning towards "not moved" due to the note about transliteration but I am choosing no consensus due to limited participation. (closed by non-admin page mover) ASUKITE 14:42, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mudbir al-Far'unMubdir al-Far'un – According to the Arabic name (Arabic: مبدر الفرعون). Mohammed Qays (talk) 17:58, 8 April 2024 (UTC) — Relisting. Andrewa (talk) 22:12, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Relisting comment: I was tempted to close this in the light of no opposition, but I'd like to find someone to notify. Suggestions? I took a look at various relevant wikiprojects and their participants and see a great deal of inactivity. Arabic Wikipedia (and the other Arabic Wikipedias but that seems the relevant one) are active but if there are articles on this person, they are not linked. Andrewa (talk) 22:27, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    @Andrewa I will translate it in Arabic within hours according to the reliable sources in Arabic. In the end, he is an Arab character, so you can search in Arabic and compare between (Arabic: مبدر الفرعون or Arabic: مدبر الفرعون). Mohammed Qays (talk) 08:23, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    But that misses the point completely, unless you can find or create reliable English sources. Andrewa (talk) 20:34, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    @Andrewa Iraq Administration Reports 1914-1932 Mohammed Qays (talk) 22:33, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    That appears to be a Google books search that found some Arabic sources. Irrelevant if so. Andrewa (talk) 02:44, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - I made a note in this article about all the ways this name is transliterated in english sources. "Mubdir al-Far'un" is not one of them. Koopinator (talk) 05:53, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So you did. It would be easier to follow what you did if you were to use an edit summary, but that note is well sourced and relevant. Andrewa (talk) 20:33, 16 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
