Driving position[edit]

Is it common that such vans may have a reversed driver's seat position vs most other types of van in their particular country? EG RHD in the USA, LHD in the UK, and so-on? This appears to be the case for UPS at least, and, issues of visibility aside, seems to offer advantages in that it's then much easier to retain a seat for the driver (instead of them having to stand, and thus not have as much control or be able to use a seatbelt) as well as the ability to then quickly move to the back of the van to retrieve items, and walk straight out onto the kerb without having to either park on the wrong side of the road or dodge traffic by alighting in the roadway... 193.63.174.115 (talk) 12:56, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
