Windows[edit]

I agree. However, most of the current deployments (like school systems) can't afford the high costs of Microsoft software. So, the low-cost Multiseat options on Microsoft's operating systems are limited. ~a (user • talk • contribs) 13:37, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading[edit]

Quote: "With the increasing capacity of processors and memory, computers can now perform significant numbers of tasks simultaneously without slowing down."

Here is something shocking... mainframes, minicomputers and servers have been doing this for long time - 30+ years. The statement is misleading as it gives the impression that modern technology made this possible only recently. Rilak (talk) 08:56, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please can someone who was involved in this talk about how the name Zaphod came to be used for it?
