Date of birth[edit]

Regarding the subject's age, I searched pretty hard for any reliable source that names her year of birth, but I couldn't find anything that explicitly mentions it. I would love to know a reliable source that says that she was born in 1993 and not in the first part of 1994. I don't think that this a privacy concern, just an accuracy concern, so I view this as more of a citation needed type of situation than a speedy undoing type of situation. But regarding the full date of birth, until her date of birth truly becomes public knowledge with reliable sources publicly mentioning it, we should certainly err on the side of caution about including her full birth date, especially with the article subject recently and actively trying to divert attention away from her age. - Astrophobe (talk) 19:23, 27 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An excellent point and I now understand why the original post stated she was born in either 1993 or 1994. I will not make any changes if the entry reverts back to the default. (I'm also learning new things about how wikipedia entries are edited.) I will let the official channels know about this discussion and see what they choose to do about it, if anything.) Photo[edit]

Hi, there is a good photo of the Honourable Mumilaaq Qaqqaq at https://mumilaaqqaqqaq.ndp.ca. So there is no objection to a photo being published. Therefore a photo here is not objectionable? Can someone add a photo, please? Ideally the photo should be put in Wikimedia Commons. Then a link can be added here. That is preferable to putting the photo directly in the article. Thanks, ... Birth Name[edit]

I'm just wanting to open a discussion about Mumilaaq's birth name appearing on the top of the page as "formerly Trina Qaqqaq." As far as I'm aware, she used this name before entering public life, known by her family, and she has expressed discomfort in that name in social media posts.
