The two above articles are undergoing a history-merge to go along with content merge already performed.

I'm not sure how it happened, but this article and Murder By Death became redirects pointing at each other. I've reverted this one back to the last point at which it had content.--gadfium 09:00, 13 Jul 2004 (UTC)

The Sherlock Holmes ending

There is mention of this ending being in the first TV broadcast on ABC on various websites. If any wikipedian has this on VHS or knows from some other source would you please post, either here or on the article page, who the actors were who played Holmes and Watson. It sticks in my memory that Patrick Macnee of John Steed fame played Holmes, but this could easily be my memory playing tricks. I will give a thank you now to anyone who can fill in this information. Peter Sellers' character

"Inspector Sidney Wang, played by Peter Sellers, is based on Charlie Chan"...

...Is this offician? He is a great deal more "Fu Manchu"-nian than "Charlie Chan"-ian to me 81.149.179.46 (talk) 18:17, 26 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes this is official. Fu is only a crime causer never a solver. Sellers costume, makeup and atrocious accent and, most tellingly, his son (Fu never has a son that he chats with) are all based on Chan. The only thing that is even remotely like Fu is his mustache.
