How about aftermath?[edit]

This may have been on the (now-deleted???) TruTV crimelibrary pages.

I recall seeing, but cannot now place, the information that in the wake of this case, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover urged schools to adopt procedures to identify who is authorized to pick up what child. It stated that such a procedure might have saved Bobby Greenlease. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.47 (talk) 14:59, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ransom[edit]

This link may help clear up some of the text on the two policemen. I think more research is needed and a paragraph separator might be warranted.

Copy editing required and completed[edit]

The section "Abduction and murder" suggests that a nun at Bobby's school inquired of Mrs. Greenlease's health and that "her" (the nun's, subject of the sentence) husband contact the FBI. Catholic nuns/sisters do not marry. Clarity of language is needed here--whose husband contacted the FBI?

I made edits to the section about the police officers, as one part used a female pronoun to discuss the death of a male police officer.

Also, "the other being Ethel Rosenberg, who, along with her husband Julius, were Soviet spies" was changed to "was convicted of being a Soviet spy" for both subject-verb agreement and because the Rosenbergs were never definitively proven to have been spies, despite being convicted and put to death for it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Discopinch (talkcontribs) 22:57, 21 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
