It's not an issue of being uncivil, I'm asking on what basis is Wikipedia meant to take sides is an ongoing geoconflict? Renaming place names isn't something covered by WP:COMMONNAME because the sources are going to be patchy and inconsistent, if there has been a community discussion and consensus on this conflict I'd like the link please.
