Plot summary+post episode chat with Lawrence[edit]

"JD realizes that he has gone an entire day without self sabotage, yet becomes concerned with his relationship with Kim. Turk tells JD that he has to stay with Kim, because although he does not love her or know her well enough, she is pregnant with his child. J.D. realizes that no matter what he is stuck with Kim whether he loves her or not."

This isn't how I thought the conversation went. I thought Turk said that's his flaw, that he didn't get to know Kim before knocking her up, and now he feels committed to her regardless of his feelings. I never picked up in the dialoge that Turk thinks he should stay or go. I'll give a shot at revising the wording tomorrow.

Also, did anybody catch a transcript of the chat on nbc.com? Maybe there is information there that can be put in the article. Notthegoatseguy 04:10, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I absolutely agree with your interpretation. Give it a shot! Also, what's the name of the actor who plays Joe? --Tracerbullet11 17:33, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure Turk outright says "and thus, you'll stay with her until the end." I'll double check later today. WikiFew 18:45, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I just rewatched the scene and I can confirm it, Turk says "you're gonna stick it out with her until the end, whether you love her or not." WikiFew 01:48, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, Turk says that, but I think he doesn't imply that JD should stay with Kim. His point is that (and he knows this because he knows JD so well) JD will stay with her, even though this may not be the right decision. --Tracerbullet11 11:06, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Possible name goof[edit]

-- Did anyone notice that in the award scene, Dr. Cox calls Turk by the name Donnie, most likely a mistake since the actor's real name is Donald? I re-watched it a few times, and couldn't figure out any other explanation for why he would have used this name? Anyone know? 17:48, 26 October 2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.72.114.239 (talk)

He calls him "Gandhi," the same name he's been calling Turk for years. WikiFew 01:56, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, he definitely says Ghandi NIKKKIN 15:19, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another copy from House?[edit]

The patient in this episode was Joe, who was thought not to have Lyme disease and bounced around a few diagnoses and eventually ended up back at Lyme disease because of the target lesion in his hair, EXACTLY THE SAME plot as a House episode. Is this coincidence or another House tribute much like the one a couple of episodes before? Or were the scriptwriters getting tired and just parroting the plots of other series. Squiggle (talk) 13:30, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oops. take that back. Just realized the House episode (Ugly) came out almost simultaneously (about a week or two later) than this episode. Writers must have come up with it at the same time. Squiggle (talk) 13:35, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
