SHOULDN'T THE LINK BELOW SERVE AS THE BOOK COVER?

There, see, a scan showing that it is "The Dismal Dinner," and not "The Damsaiel Denner".

If this is going to be reverted, could users please consider finding solid evidence that the creation is, in fact, "The Damsaiel Denner" - evidence other than Google results that, in fact, link back to the incorrect Wikipedia article?

Quotations[edit]

Or rather, the type-ups of the entire thing that have been copy-pasted here. I think they should perhaps be italicised or placed in a quote box of some sort to set them apart, due to their immense size, but I'm also wondering if pasting the entire text here is actually suitable, and whether it passes the Fair Use policy.

No reply to the previous editor, so I'm treating this as copyvio. TheMadBaron 00:20, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I hadn't seen this when I stuck them back in with formatting. Seeing that it's possibly a copyvio, I'll remove them for now; anyway it's easy to put them in again. Corxcrews 05:36, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If they're going to be removed as copyvios, then a link to a type-up of them should be included. I know forum posts and fansites aren't meant to be used as sources, but I think when they're right, exceptions should be made, because where else are you going to find it?

In addition, I honestly doubt whether HarperCollins, Lunchables etc. would even care about it being typed up online; it's not as if it's actually available any more, so it's not hindering their profitability or ability to sell books.

Fair use rationale for Image:Thedismaldinner.JPG[edit]

Image:Thedismaldinner.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
