I just read your article on Navy blimps and congratulate you for its quality. It did contain a tiny problem: You state that the ZPG2W version of the Nan ships carried a crew of 21. I was a Naval Aviagtor assigned to squadron ZW1 and flew many patrols in these things in 1958-59. We always took 25 men - two crews of 12 men each plus the 25th man, who supposedly served as the rigger and the cook. In actual practice however, he was any E2 seaman in the squadron who needed hours in order to get his flight pay. This made for some interesting meals on board.

The ZPG-3W problem[edit]

The ZPG-3W was actually an entirely new aircraft. perhaps it should have a separate section in this article.

---

I have no idea why this page even goes into the ZPG-3W and Airlander 10 at all, but at least it should try to get the facts straight if it does. It's hopelessly faulty as it stands. The gas capacity of the ZPG-3W was 42,500 m^3, not 23,648 m^3. This is significant because it means the ZPG-3W remains the largest nonrigid airship ever built.
