The markup of the first paragraph is obviously messed up, but I'm not sure how to correct it since it's not clear what the author intended.

Anyone know of any petitions to have NBC save the NBA. I can't believe how ABC and ESPN have butchered such a great product.

Image copyright problem with Image:Espnba.gif[edit]

The image Image:Espnba.gif is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Requested move[edit]

NBA on ABC → NBA Sunday — Since this in no longer an ABC program, but rather an ESPN program on ABC, should it be moved to a page like ESPN's other NBA presentations? Khan_singh (talk) 02:48, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough, I'm going to remove the tag. I was thinking that the article could be retitled "NBA Sunday" and the "NBA on ABC" could be discussed in the history. What if this article were edited to be in the past tense?Khan_singh (talk) 03:35, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what you mean by "past tense." But "NBA Sunday" is a broad umbrella term that doesn't reflect the focus of the article - which is ABC's coverage of the NBA on Sundays. --Jtalledo (talk) 12:13, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
What I mean is that the NBA on ABC doesn't exist anymore. Yes, it is NBA basketball, and it happens to be on ABC, but it's an ESPN program. This article should refer to the ABC Sports program, circa 1965-73, & 2002-2006; and NBA Sunday would refer to ABC's coverage of the NBA since then.
