Clinical trials?[edit]

I recently saw it asserted that "Indeed, an analog of PBN, 2,3-dihydroxy–6-nitro–7-sulfamoyl-benzo(F)quinoxaline (NBQX) had passed Phase I and II clinical trials for the treatment of stroke with flying colors, and seemed destined for approval." Is this true? It would be great if the page talked about this; I am curious what happened to NBQX (the writer's implication being that it somehow fell off the wagon despite nothing being wrong with it, which I don't trust without seeing what really happened.)
