The result of the move request was: pages moved to NHL Hitz 2002 and NHL Hitz 2003, per discussion. The citation of WP:MOSTM is apt. - GTBacchus(talk) 05:05, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

– I'm requesting that the hyphens in these article titles be changed to en-dashes. I believe that per WP:MOS we should use en-dashes for years instead of hyphens. Also, season articles such as 2010–11 NHL season and 2010–11 SM-liiga season use en-dashes in the title. HeyMid (contribs) 20:17, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Yeah but this isn't a range; it's a weird hyphen placed in the middle of a year. I don't know why they have any punctuation mark there, but a hyphen it is. I would support a move to NHL Hitz 2002, which is how Amazon spells it. Powers T 00:35, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • Judging by the style of the cover, and Google search results, NHL Hitz 20-02 (i.e. with either a hyphen or en-dash) appears to be the official name of the game, so I don't think we should assemble the year parts together. However, there appear to be many people also spelling it as NHL Hitz 2002, so I wouldn't object if consensus arises to remove the hyphen in the titles. • It obviously represents a year, and per MOS:TM, we try to avoid accommodating weird punctuation and capitalization. Powers T 12:36, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
        • The reason for it is that the game is actually pronounced NHL Hitz Twenty-02 as opposed to NHL Hitz 2002. It should stay where it is now. -DJSasso (talk) 19:07, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
          • "2002" is often pronounced "Twenty-oh-two" without aid of hyphens (just like "1982" is "nineteen eighty-two" without having to be written "19-82"). Powers T 20:54, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • A weird one. Per Powers and MOS:TM, I would prefer simply "NHL Hitz 2002". Jenks24 (talk) 09:19, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
