Official name[edit]

The text presents "People's Liberation Armed Forces" as if this was the official name of the Vietcong. But the official history gives the name as "Liberation Army of South Vietnam" (Victory in Vietnam, pp. 68, 188) The official media uses "Liberation Army". Most Vietnamese say, Việt cộng, so the phrase "in the West" is misleading. Kauffner (talk) 08:06, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
