Ad?[edit]

Am I the only one who feels like this entry reads like an advertisement? I may do a bit of searching and see if the text is cribbed directly from an ad. As is, though, it seems to offer little info about the programs actual uses, but lots of buzzwords and excessive bits of info.

If I'm just being grumpy, please say so. But I'm wondering if others feel similarly.

It's not only potentially biased, it also does an incredibly poor job of describing what the software actually does. It's full of vague descriptions which are designed to sound impressive, but doesn't explain the basic functions to someone who has never used it. 158.143.82.199 (talk) 16:46, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A COI tag was placed on the article in August 2019. I've just removed that tag after also removing all the unsourced statements, removing a direct quote copy/paste copyright violation, and specifying at one point that something is claimed by the developer, rather that reported as a straight fact. Version history[edit]

In the section 'Version history' the latest update is "NVivo (Release 1.0) / Nvivo 1.0 – March 18, 2020 (Windows & Mac)", but from some suppliers, I hear that there are a version 14 and a version NVivo calls either '20' or 'The New NVivo'.
