Natpur bank and Madhupara bank scandal[edit]

Can anybody put the deatils about natpur bank and its closure due to madhupura bank scandal? And please dont make everything very famous and also famous. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and quote references to facts.Kaushal mehta 06:20, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article has:

(1) many inaccurate facts:

--- such as on Desai Wago and Desai's; e.g. "grandsons Dr. Virendra and Maganbhai Prabhudas Desai". There are more inaccuracies in there. --- on authors and poets ( e.g. "Many great poets and authors like Jhaverchand Meghani, Ambalal Purani, Mahadevbhai Desai etc. stayed here" Left out are the pioneers of earlier era, e.g. Goverdhanaram Tripathi, etc.

(2) misrepresentations or exagerations or mischaracterization.

"Being warriors as well as politically active, the Patidars of Samadi Chakla". Did they fight any wars or were in army?

"Shaheed Arvind, was the first warrior to sacrifice his life in the Maha Gujarat Movement."

=====Yes you Right Shaeed Arvind Was the First Warrior for Mahagujarat & Was Shot in Front of Me next to Dr. Jasbhai's Clinic "Salute to Arvindbhai for Gujarat" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.185.8.111 (talk) 19:34, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs a thorough revamp. It reads like a narrative of an individual's perception, which can be wrong, biassed, urepresentative.

Needs rewriting[edit]

"Nadiad "BHAUSAHEB NI HAVELI" has 249 room in the house, which less by just 91 room than Indain Glory " Rashttapati Bhavan" this prestigios haveli belong to Bhaousdaheb the duiring pre- ondependent era where Swami Vibekanand has stayed and Mahatma Gandji has styed for anight during the "Satyagrah"" To Day "BHAUSAHEB NI HAVELY" IS Khandel like Poor People Mercides we do not have Money for Colour "BHAUSAHEB NI HAVELY" This "Havely" is Made by Desai's "BLOOD MONEY of poor Agrictural Hindus/Indian's" Who Collect Tex. for British Gov.( Des Ke Ghadar's) Yes Our Grand..Grand's are more Faithful to English Gov. tha Mother land India.

Well someone would have to collect taxes. Why is this gaddari? It started with Peshwa's (Hindu) and went on to Mughals & Brits. Did you read Tatya Tope was protected in this building.

NOTE: I am not a Desai.

I don't know what a lot of this means (I don't know much about India and I found the page by clicking on "Random article") but it looks like it needs some serious revisions.Yoshiman64 (talk) 04:10, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Nadiad[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Nadiad's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "census2011":

  • From Gujarati language: "Scheduled Languages in descending order of speaker's strength – 2011" (PDF). Registrar General and Census Commissioner of India.
  • From Mumbai: "C-1 Population By Religious Community". Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs. Archived from the original on 13 September 2015. Retrieved 11 May 2016. On this page, select "Maharashtra" from the download menu. "Greater Mumbai (M.Corp.)" is at line 11 of the excel file, "Mumbai Suburban District" at line 1065 and "Mumbai District" at line 1072.
  • From Ahmedabad: "Population by religion community – 2011". Census of India, 2011. The Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India. Archived from the original on 25 August 2015.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 14:22, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
