I don't know who created the article, but I can say that Professor/Doctor Nagy Habib is indeed an internationally recognized hepatobiliary surgeon who has made tremendous advances to liver surgery. The Pringle maneuver was once the mainstay of liver surgery, but the use of energy sources such as his radiofrequency device have been revolutionary. I have never contributed to wikipedia before, but I did attempt to add references and modify the text to better show his contributions and the current surgical applications of his devices (which have moved beyond even liver surgery). --Actonian1995 (talk) 16:51, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that this does seem like it is written by someone who is certainly a fan of this guy. In my personal opinion, some of the clinical studies and scientific papers put forward by Professor Habib are of a poor standard and I hear from other colleagues in my department that his talks are equally as poor (certainly in the Stem Cell field). I'm not saying he hasn't contributed a lot to surgery, because he has, but this article seems to be written by someone who is certainly a big friend of his.
