Focus of the Page[edit]

Initially, this page was brought to my attention because it is a DYK nomination and there were issues of length and close paraphrasing. I continue to have questions about the focus of this page.

The information, as it is written, is heavily weighted toward the film "Theeb" and not necessarily on the filmmaker, Naji Abu Nowar. (It's possible Theeb is noteworthy enough to have a page of its own). I realize Abu Nowar is new to the filmmaking scene and, presumably, his page will expand with his accomplishments.

In an attempt to help strengthen the page and hopefully pass DYK, I have done some additional research and found information about Abu Nowar that is not currently on the page. What is the best way to share this information? Do I post my draft here on the talk page? Or is it OK to make the changes directly on the page? What makes the most sense for discussion?

Also, I noticed the awards list does not have references. I believe the information to be true, Theeb was widely acclaimed, but the award information needs to be backed up by reliable sources.

My intent is to support this filmmaker and all the fine work that's already gone into developing this page.
