Example of company

It is not apropriate to list the name of a company which manufactures name plates. This must be removed.

Reference to masthead is in error; new nameplate (publishing) article is needed

This article is currently preceded with "For a newspaper's logo, see Masthead (publishing)." This is incorrect. A newspaper's "designed name" or logo which appears on its front page is called a nameplate, not a masthead. See [[1]].

However the origin of this use of nameplate is probably different from that of the term defined in the current article. See [[2]]. I assume that would call for a separate article. Frappyjohn (talk) 21:34, 7 September 2009 (UTC)

I have published such an article: [[3]]

Please review it. thanks. Frappyjohn (talk) 22:43, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
