How the fuck is a party based in "restoring rhe ideals of pancasila" in the centre to centre left, this is clearly right wing, keep in mind pancasila's FIRST verse is monotheism, it also doesnt bother to define a mature democracy and just bashes at the process which while sounding leftist can also be foundin rightoids 2001:448A:1082:6A51:5965:7F0F:254E:1AD4 (talk) 00:02, 8 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that such a classification is hard. I would propose we just remove political spectrum altogether since Indonesian political parties are hard to be classified as left or right wing (as in a sense with European one). It is also hard to put where Pancasila sits within ideological spectrum because historically, it has been interpreted to support wide array of spectrums from labourers and leftists to Islamists and conservatives, so Pancasila itself should not be put on one spectrum either (it doesnt help the fact that literally all parties, organizations, and most of political movements in Indonesia claimed to represent Pancasila regardless of their stance on many things just to gain sympathy or not get scrutinized).
