pronounciation?[edit]

Does anybody know for sure how she pronounces her last name? Perhaps a recording of her saying it? The olympics announcers seem to be all over the place.Brainmouse (talk) 02:55, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the UK (& Ireland) there is only one way to pronounce it, which is "cog-lin", where the "g" is hard & borders on a "k". Sorry, I know not how to do this in Wiki phonetics Sitush (talk) 05:01, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed a lot of tautologous edits from this article but there are still plenty there, with some facts being stated two and three times and also a general bird's nest of an approach to categorising. Can we not agree on what goes where please? Are there any good articles about Olympians/swimmers/sports people upon which we could base the structure? Then what does "qualify" mean?[edit]
