Alberta[edit]

The information on Alberta in the Implementation section is far more detailed than for any other province. Should it have its own subsection?--Jrsnbarn (talk) 15:37, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Provincial codes[edit]

The provincial code "implementations" section is very flawed. There is nothing special about Alberta or Ontario versus the other provinces that have created their own codes based on the provincial model. I will come back when I have some more time to properly update all of the provincial/municipal codes information. Right now I will do a light edit to correct some of the glaring errors, but I'll clean it all up a bit later. Webgeer (talk) 00:36, 4 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

National Codes website states that New Brunswick is adopting NBC 2010 in early 2014, but a quick search doesn't turn up anything confirming this on the NB government's website. Spiegalr (talk) 17:37, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

History section/ "historic right"[edit]

"... In a few cases, municipalities have been given the historic right of writing their own building code ...". It implies that there is something "historic" (i.e.: distinctly memorable) about such a right. I suspect what the author of this sentence meant was that municipalities have historically been given the right. But I don't know enough about the topic to correct it on my own.
