Although teams in the NCFA are considered to be "club", players and coaches do not treat game planning and preparation differently than any other non - club football teams. Typically, club teams are not given funding from their universities (although there are some exceptions), making it more difficult for programs to recruit, find venues for both practice/games, and pay for road trips. Because of this, teams are responsible for fundraising along with players required to pay dues. Clubs are responsible for managing their money which is typically the responsibility of the treasurer. The Club President overlooks all operations and is responsible for making important decisions. Although most people are not aware of the NCFA (at least in my experience), the league itself is expanding year by year with more teams joining from locations across the country. Hopefully the league will gain more recognition with the addition of major schools that have division one teams such as: Michigan State and Ohio State. All in all, the NCFA gives athletes another opportunity to play the game they love in an organized and safe manner. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattyb230 (talkcontribs) 00:03, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
