Copyright - National Commission for Protection of Child Rights[edit]

Hi Aravind, I noticed you removed the suspected copyright violation tag from National Commission for Protection of Child Rights with an edit summary indicating you dispute it. There is a chunk of text that is clearly copied from an Indian Gov't domain, is there some provision of Indian law that would make copying the text not be copyright violation? I have responded to that here. The intro contains some basic facts regarding the commission viz, the act behind it date of enactment etc. It is the definition given to the commission by the government. Wouldn't it be wrong to write it in my own words? As you can see the rest of the article is in my own words. I'm copying this discussion to the talk page in case anyone else has the same concern. There are two strings of text that appear copied. The first is the opening sentence. I've given it a rewrite to try to remove the problem there, and thrown in mention that its related to Inida, as it can be confusing to readers if the nation involved isn't spelled out early. Its a bit awkward, but gets the information across. As for the second string, if its very specifically the mandate of the commission, it should be quoted with a reference, I've done that, and moved the useful wikilinks from the quote down to a see also section. Do you think my revision preserves what your trying to get across? Monty845 04:05, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it is better now. I appreciate your edits. Aravind V R (talk) 04:36, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Child labor being used with Romwe[edit]

I have been seeing a lot of signs and notes on clothes and packages of my ROMWE items. It’s a clothing app. I have been seeing help me and noticeable signs that children or somebody needs help. Please please open an investigation. They used to use child labor but the “claim” they don’t anymore. But I don’t believe that 207.135.244.231 (talk) 14:55, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
