I have corrected information regarding who created HashKeeper.

Hashkeeper was conceptualized in early 1996 and a functioning version was first demonstrated at the Federal Computer Crime Investigation Committee in late 1996 or 1997. Mr Tamura came to NDIC in 1998.

I conceptualized HashKeeper, proposed it to management and managed it's implementation. Chris Bifano did the initial programming AND came up with the name. When Chris Bifano moved to a different assignment, David Busovicki and then Ken Ressler did some follow-on programming. From first release until 2002, the latest date to which I can speak authoritatively, Heather Strong, James Tamura, Susan New and Cheryl (can't remember her last name) hashed software and added to the database of hash values.
