And who made you the ruler of what goes and what doesn't? This article is full of advertisements and statements without citation that may be removed (see note at the top of the article). I am trying to enhance the quality of this article by removing extraneous material and adding supporting material. That article indicates that an employee of the company created the original Wikipedia entry two years ago. It says nothing about future employee edits. Now, looking at the IP addresses in the edit history can better show if and when employees have edited the entry.

The original IP is in the range of 130.164.71.x, from March 2004.
An IP in the range 130.164.76.x edited again in September 2004, removing a link to a 2003 press release.
130.164.73.x corrected a factual mistake in October 2004. (The article stated the company was not named a "Top 100 Company to Work For" in 2004 when, in fact, they were.
130.164.79.x updated the "Top 100" data again in January 2005, indicating another year on the list.
130.164.77.x capitalization change in August 2005.
130.164.73.x added an internal link in June 2006.

If any of those were inappropriate, the company may deserve criticism. (I don't know those were all employees, but the IPs are similar.) I don't think that original linked article has anything worthy of criticism. 71.145.143.34 05:54, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- Just as an FYI, I did a big edit of the article today. I'm a former employee of NI, and haven't worked there in over a year. I left of my own accord partly because they don't treat IT workers well, but I tried to be as objective as possible. If anyone has a problem with anything I added, please feel free to remove. No longer the knights who say "National Instruments"[edit]

Now they say "NI"!

HTTP requests to NationalInstruments.com now redirect to NI.com and, as the article notes,

On June 16, 2020, National Instruments announced that they were officially changing the company's name to NI.

Should this article be moved? There's a disambiguation page at NI, but we could move it to NI (company). TypoBoy (talk) 23:56, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Electronics Workbench section needs sources[edit]

Hello all! I added a bit about the development history of Electronics Workbench based on two sources I found. The one that discusses Roy Bryant's role as COO includes information that contradicted the unverified 1995 founding date, so I removed that date. July 8 2020
