Logic?[edit]

Is there any logic behind the listing of the aircraft on display? Because if so I can't see it, the list isn't alphabetical, chronological or fixed-wing then rotary (or vice versa). Also there seem to be a few overlaps: is the "Bell HH-1K Iroquois (Former HA(L)-5 Gunship in HA(L)-3 Configuration)" different from the "Bell HH-1K Huey"? Is the "Bell HTL-4" different from the "Bell HTL Sioux (TH-13)"? I would fix it but decided to ask here first. Mztourist (talk) 08:39, 19 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The list drives me crazy as well. If there is a scheme, it is so arcane as to be useless. Since it has been over a year and a half since you posted this, with no one responding, I say go for it, if you are still interested. Busaccsb (talk)

Frankly I'm unsure how to approach it. The museum's website here: [1] Browse Aircraft lists alphabetically by designation, but to me having the A6M2 Zero in between the A4D-1 Skyhawk and AF-2S Guardian doesn't seem right, while the Exhibits section doesn't set out which aircraft form which exhibit. So I'm inclined to separate into fixed and rotary wing and reorder alphabetically by manufacturer, do you agree? Mztourist (talk) 03:51, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I just came across the list and it bothers me as well. I like your idea for ordering it. Mirada360 (talk) 18:05, 4 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Closed to public[edit]

We drove down to the coast to visit the museum only to learn that it is closed to the public. Your tax dollars at work...DrHenley (talk) 14:36, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
