Club notability[edit]

There is support that ACTPL meets notability criteria for an article on the league, and it forms part of the WPFootballinAus goals. The notability of the clubs themselves is more questionable, as a number are and always have been amateur. For each club:

Canberra City - formerly played in NSL so meets notability criteria for its own article
Belconnen, Canberra FC - formerly played in NSWPL, so meets notability criteria for its own article
All others - not played higher than ACT 1st division, so notability is questionable.

I'm proposing that for the other clubs (ANU, Woden, Tuggeranong, O'Connor, Queanbeyan, Olympic) the information be merged into this article about the league. A new section be added that would give a brief description of each club. Any comments and objections please share them here. - Tomperc (talk) 05:35, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
