Duncan house[edit]

There is a photo of the Duncan house on this page, but I don’t know why. Is it within the Cooksville Historic District? If so, could someone please confirm it and then mention that in the caption? --Rob Kennedy 20:15, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Old Synagogue = Gates of Heaven Synagogue[edit]

The "Old Synagogue" in Madison is actually the Gates of Heaven Synagogue. It is no longer at the corner of Gorham and Butler Streets. It was moved to James Madison Park in the 1970s. Sorry, don't know the coordinates. --Sift&Winnow 18:51, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

According to the City of Madison Parks website, the current address of the synagogue is 302 E. Gorham St. which is at the corner of E. Gorham and N. Butler. It was moved to its present location in 1970, the same year that it was listed on the National Register. This page on the Wisconsin Historical Society website says that the original location was the 200 block of W. Washington Ave. (more details of the history of the building and the move may be found on the Historic Madison, Inc. website and on the DANEnet.org website).

Since this table is supposed to be reflective of the NPS NRIS database, I'm restoring the "E. Gorham St. at N. Butler St." location (and including geocode coordinates). Per WP:NRHP guidelines, I'm also changing the link so that the table displays the name as it appears in the NRIS database (Old Synagogue). --sanfranman59 (talk) 00:05, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Middleton Stamm House & Pheasant Branch Creek[edit]

I'm surprised the Stamm House in Middleton isn't on the National Register of Historic Places. 142.254.84.185 (talk) 17:53, 9 October 2023 (UTC). Also there might be some Indian mounds in the Pheasant Branch Creek nature preserve.[reply]
