Sources[edit]

I have no idea what Nyttend's problems are. But the Source for all the data thus far, is the guy who wrote the bloody material that was SENT the National Register in 1984. THAT's where the Government GOT the original material, if the source is good enough for the federal government is should be good enough for WIkipedia.EraserGirl (talk) 00:06, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Problem isn't a question of reliability — rather, the cited webpage said absolutely nothing about these two sites. Without a source, we can't verify it. Don't attack me for opposing something that violates our policies. Nyttend (talk) 01:12, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It was NOT without a source, the link was to the parent page. All it needed was fixing. A simple message pointing out my error would have been less rude. Rolling back 5 or 6 pages of my work was uncalled for. It is not like I am just cruising past these articles. They are only stubs, I am in the middle of doing major research, the online stuff is just the 1st stuff I am working with. All the research materials from the library are non-circulating, so it is taking time to get offline citations. EraserGirl (talk) 01:36, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sooner or later you are gonna get bored and I am just gonna put it all back. It is all valid and you obviously don't have anything better to do tonight. EraserGirl (talk) 01:46, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think so. If you say something and cite a webpage to support it, and I find that the webpage doesn't support it, how do I know that it's not just your opinion? I don't know this website, moreover, so I don't know where to go to finish the reference. You can work on this in your sandbox or on an offline Notepad file on your computer, not posting anything until it's completed or at least properly cited, but there's no good reason to add bits without proper sources. There's no deadline to get these bits uploaded — they've already been here for decades or centuries, so we're not likely to see a change in information anytime soon — so don't make anything visible in the mainspace until all is acceptable. Well not much of that is pertinent. I am adding what i have on each location as I find it. The odds are good I may not find anymore to add. I am not going to save it up just incase i MIGHT find something else to add to it. My sources are just as valid as anyone else on WP. EraserGirl (talk) 06:05, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
