NI National Colours(?)[edit]

The labelling of the national colours of Northern Ireland as red, white and blue is quite controversial. Additionally, I don't really know on what basis it is useful to speak of 'national colours of Northern Ireland'. I don't think that it even really exists as a concept outside of being part of larger entities which do have national colours. The Union Flag may be the only 'official flag' in NI, but it is quite a jump to extrapolate that red, white and blue are therefore the 'national colours' of NI separate from the UK as a whole.Crc (talk) 14:08, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • I agree with [User:Crc|Crc] that describing red, white and blue as the colours of Northern Ireland is at best controversial. Red, White, Blue, Green, Orange and Gold are all alternately used in various combinations, but I can't find much of a source for anyone without doing too much original research. Red Arrows[edit]

The picture, somewhat confusingly, only shows red and blue smoke... can someone upload a picture with red, white and blue smoke? Stub Mandrel (talk) 21:08, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Loads at Commons. I've picked one out of Commons:Category:Red Arrows Andy Dingley (talk) 21:52, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
