"Betrayal at Krondor" is cited as one of the most influential computer role-playing games of the early 1990s, and the creators of "Baldur's Gate", "Planescape: Torment", and "Morrowind" (all major modern titles) have all credited Krondor as a ground breaker that influenced their titles.
