Untitled[edit]

Is there any point in having the list of colleges, given that it totally fails to be exhaustive? Also, it ought to be cited. -Semisomna 21:01, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is there an exhaustive list anywhere?[edit]

This page should exist because it is the only remotely comprehensive collection of schools that are both need-blind and provide 100% of need. Columbia is now completely need-blind too[edit]

MIT wrong Infomation[edit]

MIT is need-blind for all students, including internationals. However, it is not full-need for intl's. Please refer to MIT's admissions page.

Yes, it is. If I'm correct it covers for more than 70 percent of both the Admissions fee AND the housing fee, which is almost full-need. Jjeong12 (talk) 02:23, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Columbia is full-need, but no need-blind[edit]

Regarding international students: "Though Columbia is not need-blind in its admission of foreign students, if you are admitted then we will meet 100% of your demonstrated financial need. Lawrence University isn't fully need blind[edit]

This section should be modified and retitled: U.S. institutions that are need-blind for U.S. applicants and do not meet full demonstrated need.[edit]

Most colleges and universities in the USA are need blind and do not meet full demonstrated need. They accept qualified students regardless of need, and meet the need of the more desirable ones, or meet the need of none of them. I suggest adding a section that would be titled: U.S. Institutions that are need blind for U.S. applicants, do not meet full demonstrated need, but meet at least 90% of demonstrated need. This is accurate through 11 Feb 2013 for US applicants, however, I am not sure which also are need-blind, nor am I sure which schools cover international students.

Brandeis is Listed Twice[edit]

Georgetown Information is Unclear and the International Information is Incorrect[edit]

Georgetown is listed as both need-blind (for US Citizens/Permanent Residents) and need-aware (for Internationals). According to their website, Georgetown is Need Blind for All Applicants (US Citizens and Foreign Nationals), meets the full need for all US Citizens and Permanent Residents and meets the full need for as many foreign nationals as their international financial aid budget allows. UC Berkely is NOT need blind[edit]

Cornell need-aware for domestic?[edit]

The citation given for Cornell University only talks about being need-aware for international students, it doesn't mention whether or not it is need-blind for domestic applicants.

Denison is in 2 lists[edit]

Denison is under both "U.S. institutions that are need-blind for U.S. applicants and meet full demonstrated need" and "U.S. institutions that are not need-blind for U.S. applicants and meet full demonstrated need". Which one is right?
