I removed the following material from the article as unsourced, and seemingly unverifiable from reliable sources. Some of the new establishments of Provision stores were the "Indian Maligai" adjacent to the Railway Station are good in Business. Senthil Medical is the popular druggist for over 20 years owned by Mr. N . Elangovan, Veteran politician and a noble person . Mr. Rajan Ramesh is an Australian return entrepreneur running a stationery stores and offers product at cheapest cost than all others. Thangam photo studio is old one and waste one of all time. Owner knows nothing about photography but telling everybody he knows all. Notable talented service oriented shops are Star tailor, Mr. Gurunathan tailorings, Navrang electricals, Karthi (urupadatha) cell care . Kitta sweets( A1), KPS Textiles, etc.
Mr.Saravan as Saro Fish Center is also leading fish shop and delivering a best service to needa peoples.
Many people originally from Needamangalam now work in Gulf countries and United States. This is the native place of great musician Meenakshi Sundaram, Neelakanda Shastri and former Chief Election Commissioner of India Mr. N. Gopalaswami.Few People from Tamil film industry like Cinematographer Gopinath and Director Sami are also from here.
Needamangalam Narpani Madram started in 1999 under headed by K.P.G. Muralidharan. He was the establisher and founder of Needamangalam Narpani Madram. This organization provides lot of helps to the public in various occasions. But now it was disappeared.
