Maple Village/Wedgewood Neighborhood - This neighborhood represents the area bounded to the west from Sycamore Drive to S. 84th St on the east and bounded to the south from Sandlewood Dr. and to the north by HW 34/East O Street. This neighborhood is just south of the Meadowland Blvd. This neighborhood boasts part of the wheel-chair accessible 21.7 mile Mopac Trail East used for mountain biking, horseback riding, cross country skiing, and walking. The intersection of Beechwood Drive and Cherry Hill Blvd house the Realtors Association of Lincoln headquarters which regulates all realtors and access to the multiple listing service for all Realtor real estate listings in Nebraska. So many familiar names.[edit]

I grew up in Lincoln, 1952 to 1964, and a good number of these neighborhoods were commonly discussed in my home. I have identified four areas were my parents made their home.
