Peter Davison and writer claim - better source needed?[edit]
I am unsure if the claim "Peter Davison was reportedly so unhappy with the story that he requested that Austen Atkinson never write for his Doctor again" should be included. While this story has circulated for a few years, I am not sure that there is enough evidence cited here to justify its inclusion or suggest it is anymore than a rumour. The source cited here is a review on a blog, and if you go to it, it seems to suggest that the idea that Peter Davison made such a request comes from another review which appeared on Amazon. I am concerned that without an interview or other source where either Peter Davison or someone else involved with the production has given confirmation that the claim, which may well be true, lacks a solid factual basis and is thus not encyclopaedic. While as far as I know there were no more works featuring Davison that Atkinson was involved in, there could be many other reasons for this, so that alone is not confirmation.
