Northwestern Italy[edit]

The current text states: "" Neustria was also employed as a term for northwestern Italy during the period of Lombard domination. ""

Could we give approximate years for this? Svyatoslav (talk) 03:54, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

How does Northern France include Aquitaine?[edit]

The current text states "" made up of the regions from Aquitaine to the English Channel, approximating most of the north of present-day France ""

Aquitaine is the extreme south-westernmost region of France, and it looks from the map of Neustria as if the two don't overlap at all? Could we have a reference/explanation, or could the text be improved?Chiswick Chap (talk) 19:35, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Demarchus?[edit]

The term demarchus is used, but not defined. I cannot find a definition for it. Can someone please explain it or link it to something else -- Marcher Lord for example? 155.213.224.59 (talk) 14:31, 28 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

"Constant re-divisions of territories by Clovis's descendants"[edit]

One of Clovis' descendants re-divided his patrimony: Chlothar I. This only happened once. How is that "constant"?Mkwhite81 (talk) 22:36, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Does the first paragraph need review? It appears to suggest that Aquitaine was part of Neustria but it appears from the map that Aquitaine made up the southern border and the English channel made up the northern limit. Gavinayling (talk) 11:04, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
